| The standard and the technology |
| Our Pipes are manufactured to International Specifications like IS : 1239 (Part I) / 1990, IS : 1161/1981 & BS : 1387/85. We are authorised to use the ISI mark on our Pipes. |
| TNT has been using internationally proven "High Frequency Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) as the technology for continuous welding of steel tubes/pipes which is cost effective. |

| The Quality |
| TNT has installed a system to ensure that quality is "built in" in the process of production. |
| The raw materials are tested for chemical composition, tensile strength, thickness and tolerance. The pipes are subjected to bend, flattening, elongation and tensile tests to ensure weld strength. Pipes are tested hydraulically to the pressure of 50 Kg. per square cm to ensure that there is no leakage. In addition, galvanised pipes are tested for uniformity of zinc coating. Stringent quality controls are adopted to ensure that product leaving the factory bears a TNT stamp of high quality. |
